Oberon was founded by Christopher Clark in 2008 as an antidote to the dull corporate wardrobe epidemic. Unsatisfied with the selection of monochromatic work appropriate socks, Clark set out to design and manufacture luxury men's dress socks with a kick.

Clark modernized traditional argyle patterns with edgy embroidery to create a sock unlike anything else on the market. This playful juxtaposition of classic and contemporary has come to define Oberon’s unique aesthetic.

Oberon spent months fine tuning designs and searching the globe for the most skilled sock manufacturer before placing the order for the first batch of Oberon Socks in July 2008. From the superior knit blends the socks are woven from to the hand -linked toe completed in post-production, Oberon’s attention to detail remains unparalleled.

Today, Oberon continues to reinvent modern luxury and set the bar for contemporary workwear. The Charleston, South Carolina based company has attracted a loyal band of followers spanning the East and West Coasts and has been written up in numerous magazines, blogs, and trade publications.
